Behind The Scenes With Fitbod: Virgin Active SEA Fit Out

Virgin Active is the final group of our big 3 commercial clients and well let’s just say “look at the pictures” they certainly do say a thousand words. Virgin Active in South East Asia have soon to be 14 clubs open in addition to a global footprint of circa 250 clubs across 6 countries (UK, South Africa, Italy, Australia and Singapore/Thailand in SEA).

In SEA, Fitbod has been using; Throwdown as the major supplier from Boxing single station cantilevers, boxing bags, boxing gloves, pads, kick shields, wraps and more. Custom branded bags plus custom branded gloves for retail give Virgin Active an edge and makes for exciting development of solutions to meet their needs.

One thing extra we have done is simplify storage solutions for all the accessories provided which include many Fitbod lines like Freeform Boards, Hyperwear sandbells, Power Reels, Rumble Rollers and so much more. The latest club project was to create a semi-outdoor space with a range of training options which you can see in this picture with the running track perimeter.

We used Throwdown’s famous UTCK2 staircase Rig, a custom XTC rig plus a 20 ft boxing ring, sleds, tyre flips and a full range of accessories to promote bootcamp, strength and conditioning based workouts as well as obstacle/Spartan style courses using the beaverfit container course as shown with ropes and monkey bar challenges. I can tell you it's a pretty good view from up there!
